With the white sand of Roatán’s popular West Bay Beach directly at our resort’s front door, guests have easy access to the turquoise Caribbean waters. Below the surface is the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere and the second largest in the world.
Conveniently located on-site, our dive center offers a range of diving courses for beginner, intermediate and advanced divers with an experienced, multilingual team of instructors. The Infinity Divers team is made up of Scuba School International (SSI) professionals ranging from divemasters to instructors.
Additionally, Infinity Divers Aqua Center provides free valet service and a new “beach palapa” information center with equipment for rent and for sale. Guests can also get information about snorkeling and diving programs and day and night activities. The Diving Center features two boats, one accommodating 22 divers and another accommodating 30 divers.

More Information About Our Destination
The waters off Roatán’s shores are unspoiled and scarcely populated by other divers with crystal clear visibility and numerous and varied dive sites to explore. The majority of the island’s dive sites need to be accessed by boat, though there are a few exceptions and Infinity Bay is one of them.
West Bay Beach is located directly at the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere and the second largest in the world. As a diver in Roatán, you will encounter marine life in all sizes and shapes, including 70 types of hard corals and nearly 500 species of fish.
Some of the most famous dive sites include:
Mandy's Eel Garden
Like the name says, there is a Garden of Eels down at about 65 feet. Huge white shallow sand patches make it ideal for students on their first dive and it's perfect for snorkeling as the top of the wall is only 20 feet.
El Aguila
El Aguila (The Eagle) is a 63 meter/210 foot cargo boat that rests on a deep sand basin between two large coral outcroppings. The ship was intentionally sunk in 1997 to make room for a new premier dive site.
West End Wall
A spectacular precipice borders a deep blue abyss with pillar corals, azure vase sponges and barrel sponges. While in the deeper water, divers are likely to find themselves among schools of pelagic and Eagle Rays.
Blue Channel
Blue Channel is in fact a channel that starts from the inner part of the reef and flows out toward the coral ridge, starting at 10 feet and then to 45 feet at the top of the wall.
Infinity Divers Aqua Center also offers specialty dive activities such as night dives and shark dives for those who register separately.
Night Dive
Two days after the full moon and for another 10 nights afterward, night dives are an absolute MUST here in Roatán. After every full moon, a special phenomenon occurs that we call "The Strings of Pearls." This is when microscopic pelagic shrimps leave trails of phosphorescence that simulate a trail of lights in the water.
Shark Dive
This dive offers the opportunity to commune with sharks in their natural habitat. The sharks we dive with are all female Caribbean Reef Sharks, displaying a daytime schooling behavior known only to a few species of sharks.
